Who we are

Verdant Reserve is the private chef practice of Kelli Gourdine, based in Atlanta, Georgia. This page explains what this website collects and what we do with it. Questions go to hello@verdantreserve.com.

What you send us

The inquiry form asks for your name, your email, and the offering you are interested in. It also lets you add your phone number, who referred you, a preferred start, household size, dietary preferences, ZIP or neighborhood, a message, and whether you would like Studio Notes. The newsletter form asks only for your email.

When you submit either form, your answers are emailed to Kelli. Resend delivers the message, Cloudflare forwards it, and it is stored in Kelli's Google (Gmail) inbox. Resend keeps a delivery log of the message for a limited time. We use what you send to reply to you and to plan service. We do not sell it or share it for advertising.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and to see which pages are read and which forms are used. It sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_<id> that tell repeat visits apart. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. The site tells Google not to use visits for Google signals or ad personalization.

When a form is sent, we record that it was sent and, for inquiries, which offering was chosen. We never send Google your name, email, or anything you type.

You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Spam protection

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Because the newsletter form appears at the foot of every page, Turnstile loads on every page. It reads signals from your browser, and when you submit a form we pass your IP address to Cloudflare to check the result. Our hosting also limits how often a single address can submit.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel, whose servers process standard request data such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver pages and keep the service secure.

How long we keep it

Detailed Google Analytics event data is kept for two months. Google keeps summary reports of visits longer. Inquiries are kept as long as we need them to work with you, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Your choices

Write to hello@verdantreserve.com to see, correct, or delete what you have sent us, or to come off the newsletter list. If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change with it.
